Local Activities
The Lake Coeur d'Alene Camping Resort is located on Coeur d'Alene Lake 10 minutes from downtown Coeur d'Alene Idaho and 40 minutes from Spokane Washington. We are near shopping, restaurants, waterparks, skiing and watersports. Below are just a few local attractions:

River Rafting - Idaho and Washington offers the best rapids and scenery from the entire region. Rafting is available all summer on local rivers throughout our area.  ROW Adventures has opened the ROW Adventure Center in Spokane, Washington which offers Spokane River rafting throughout the year!
Fishing - Coeur d'Alene fly fishing begins twenty miles east of the North Idaho resort town, Coeur d’Alene, on the Coeur d’Alene River, where you will find some of the finest fly fishing waters in the area. The Coeur d'Alene River boasts a thriving population of both cutthroat and rainbow trout and is sure to keep an angler’s rod bent all day.  Also there are many other lakes and rivers within the same distance that offer a huge variety of different fish species.

Hiking - The local area abounds with hiking opportunities, from groomed trails such as Mineral Ridge Trail, and fun day trails like Tubbs Hill in downtown Coeur d'Alene (a 135 acre, publicly owned, forested peninsula that extends into picturesque Lake Coeur d'Alene), to the more rugged back country trails that criss-cross throughout the Coeur d'Alene National Forest.

Bike Riding - North Idaho’s world class Rails-to-Trails system offers a wide variety of wonderful and scenic rides.  Ideal family day trips can start with a bike ride on the Washington/Idaho Centennial Trail along the Spokane River.   For longer rides, plan some time on the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes, one of the jewels of the National Rails-to-Trails system.  And of course a spectacular day on the historical Hiawatha Trail, where you will bike through tunnels and across dramatic trestles spanning canyons of the Bitterroot Mountains on the Idaho/Montana border.
Horseback Riding - If you're looking for a horseback ride or hayride through the forests of North Idaho, head to Rider Ranch, located just twenty minutes east of Coeur d'Alene. Set on more than 1,000 acres of Forest Service land, this is a working ranch that's laced with meadow and forest trails. Take the family out on a pleasure ride accompanied by ranch dogs or head out on a longer trail ride or evening dinner ride. The horses are gentle and well trained. For little kids, consider a group hay ride through the meadow followed by refreshments back at the stables. The ranch is also open for group events like birthday parties, family barn nights, and ranch outings.
Silverwood Theme Park - With three roller coasters, over 65 rides and attractions, and the Boulder Beach Water Park, Silverwood has everything you're looking for in a theme park! Located in North Idaho, this is the place to go for rides on the steam engine train, magic shows, and wild water slides. You can go tubing down Avalanche Mountain, swim in the wave pool, or visit coaster alley for some hair-raising adventures. Little ones can drive the antique cars, head to Toddler Springs, or hop aboard the Flying Elephants. The park includes a number of fast food dining options.
