We are currently accepting applicants for our summer season for 2012

Campworker Couples

These are on-site positions for Couples to work the summer season at our wooded camp beside Lake Coeur d’Alene in Idaho  Starting date for these positions could be the as early as April 1st, 2012, and could run through the end of October.  Workers should be prepared to participate in all aspects of camp operations, depending on ability, such as Store Operations, Cleaning and Maintenance and General Camp Maintenance.  Compensation would include a full service RV site in exchange for 16 hours (per couple) worked per week, with additional hours paid.  From June 15th through September 3rd workers could expect 32 hours/week per person.  During the shoulder months of April, May, September and October, hours would be the minimum for site compensation, with paid hours assigned as needed.


Cleaning Staff

These are paid positions for individuals to work the summer season at our wooded camp beside Lake Coeur d’Alene in Idaho  Starting date for these positions could be the as early as June 15th, 2012, and would run through the September 3rd.  These are part time positions, 6-8 hours per day, depending on workload, 3-5 days per week.  Compensation would be hourly wage.


Camp Maintenance

This is a seasonal, full time position for an individual.  Must have working knowledge of grounds keeping, general maintenance and have mechanical ability.  Must be self starter with ability to work independently.  Start date would be April 1st, weather permitting, through October or November.

 For informational purposes, we breakdown the camp into three main areas of operations.  This should not be interpreted as a strict division of duties, but a guideline for the potential involvement in camp activities.

Store Operation Duties: Retail sales and service, as well as hands on use of the camp reservation system. Wait on customers in a retail environment, operate cash register, credit card processing, bag ice, make coffee, dispense propane, clean and stock store as needed. Perform check-in and check-out of boat rentals, as well as guest entertainment equipment. Check-in and check-out guests using the Campground Master reservation system. Answer phone call inquiries, take messages, and book reservations for guests.

Cleaning and Maintenance Duties: Clean and stock bathrooms and shower facilities, clean and stock park model and cabins, perform daily pool and spa maintenance and open for daily use, general site clean up of RV and tent sites. Additional responsibilities include laundering of park model linens and cleaning towels and rags, trash pickup, interior and exterior public area cleanup, and occasional special projects, assist in general maintenance where required.

General Camp Maintenance Duties: Maintain camp physical plant. Perform basic maintenance on water, electric, buildings, equipment, vehicles, watercraft, docks, campsites, RV sites, retaining walls, roads and trails. General grounds keeping (mowing, trimming, grading, watering etc.), and special projects as needed.
